Two Locations. One List.

Kid’s Activities

Kids Playground can be dirty, but usually only on the weekends when they tend to do big parties- There is a toddler section there, and a very big maze for older kids. It can be pricey, depending on how many you have in your family.

Perpetual Motion is a lot of fun- very clean and stuff for everyone. Not sure of the price, but I remember that they do not charge for adults, just the kiddos.

There is also Imajine That in Lawrence, which is very fun, clean (Thursdays are only $5.00 per kid)- haven’t been there in awhile, but it is great for all of our ages. They have lots of special events too.

I LOVE Amazement at Cedarland, as does Mackenzie- Moonbounce, train table, store area, sand room, maze, inexpensive snacks, and the admission is minimal ($7.00?) and only for the kids, not the parent.

Bonkers is fun if you stay out of the $15 maze- you still probably spend about $10 on tokens for games- They do have the toddler area.

We love Chuck E Cheese as of late- The Burlington and Danvers (newly renovated) are better than the Everett site- All rides and games are just one token, and there are always coupons in the paper- You can usually get 100 tokens for $12. There are some things for little ones, and a free maze for the bigger kids. The food is pricey, but the animatronic characters are fun to watch

We went instead to Lynch Park in Beverly…can you say AWESOME?!!! I think we should go there for a play date next week instead…there is a calm water beach, vollyball court in the sand, large grassy areas for play, a playground in the shade!, and a rocky tide pool beach good for exploring…oh, and picnic tables on the grass in the shade overlooking the water…we were there for 6 hours and never got board!
…and, it’s two exits closer than Singing Beach!

Also: Salem Willows

We took the girls up to Salem Willows today and had a blast. Lots of grassy space and shade and tables, we brought chalk, bubbles, and a soccer ball, watched the water and saw some boats. Then we rode the carrousel (sp?) and had ice cream — a fabulous trip. I recommend it.”,”Kid activity suggestions”,”0″,,”publish”,”open”,”open”,,”kid-activity-suggestions”,,,”2008-04-29 20:35:23″,”2008-04-30 00:35:23″,,”0″,”http://needthere.com/?page_id=8″,”0″,”page”,,”0″
